The Manitoba Junior Kennel Club is a non-profit organization that works with children aged 4 to 18 years.

The club strives to teach the sport of competitive dog showing, responsibility of caring for animals, camaraderie between competitors, as well as interacting with people of all ages. Our club is registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and recognized as only two in the country to have an Executive Board, with the children filling these roles and having influence with decisions that are made.

Every year there is a Zone Final, where the Top 4 in each age category compete with the goal of winning to represent Zone 8 at the National level, the winner of whom competes on behalf of Canada at Crufts (at the World Juniors Finals held in England). The categories for competing are separated by age, and further by skill level, creating 6 groups in total; Junior Novice, Junior Open, Intermediate Novice, Intermediate Open, Senior Novice and Senior Open. Children 4-7 years are eligible to compete in the non-competitive PeeWee Class.

Through donations and fundraising, the Manitoba Junior Kennel Club will be able to rent facilities to teach the members about the sport of dog showing, with the goal for each child gain confidence in themselves by hard work and self-discipline. With your support, your company will be advertised in a variety of ways; in the catalogue handed out to all our spectators at the Zone Finals, publicly thanked on social media (MJKC Mavens & Minions Facebook page), as well as high exposure at all confirmation events throughout the province of Manitoba.

Thank you for taking the time to support a club who believes that animals and children make life long bonds, helping heal and promote self-improvement with children. Your donations and support help make all of this possible as 100% of the proceeds of sales of all apparel via KB2 Clothing will be donated to the Manitoba Junior Kennel Club.
